10 Tiny Tasks that Help you Get Organized in 10 minutes or less

It’s currently the dead of winter and many of us are either sick, overwhelmed by holiday clutter, or just feeling unmotivated and stuck. We need easy wins!

Here are ten super easy tasks that are easy to accomplish but will give you that “I’ve got it together” feeling — in 10 minutes or less. Move quickly, and don’t overthink things (this is coming from a chronic overthinker). And for all you overachievers out there, just try to do one at a time — you’ll avoid burnout and overwhelm.

The magic is just doing something small every day to make your home and life feel more in control.

  1. Clean out your glove box

  2. Designate an official place for keys – a bowl, a hook, a bin inside a drawer

  3. Use the website unrollme to unsubscribe to email newsletters

  4. Get rid of mismatched hangers in your closet, use all one type and keep empty ones in one area

  5. Tidy up entryway – use baskets for shoes that tend to collect there, a bowl for mail

  6. Clean out the fridge

  7. Declutter under the kitchen sink – put duplicate cleaning supplies in a cleaning closet or bathroom

  8. Edit your coffee mugs / travel mugs / stanley cups down to what you really use

  9. Check spices and throw out expired ones, make a list of ones to replace

  10. Organize the kitchen junk drawer – get rid of what doesn’t need to be there, sort into categories, use dividers to create order

YOU’VE GOT THIS!
